To be named the “Home Brew Master” of the 2017 SJPC
you will need to brew progress through 3 rounds, brewing
3 different beers, following specific guidelines for each.

When judging beers, particularly styles that you are not familiar with, we suggest that you reference the 2015 BJCP Beer Style Guidelines to educate yourself.

* Ship your beers so that they arrive at your designated Hub with the date range posted.
** Dependent upon the number of participants, the New Zeland/Australia and/or UK/Europe hubs may change to a separate Round 1 and Round 2 like the U.S./Canada Hubs.

How does the Sjporr Challenge work?
The Sjporr Challenge is the only worldwide home brewing competition where the participants not only compete, but share in judging their fellow competitors beers. Beers in your competing region, known as a hub, are actually delivered to your home.
